I am a 32-year-old male currently undergoing treatment for hepatocellular cancer at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. I recently relocated from Bergen County to South Plainfield to be closer to my doctors. The frequent appointments, procedures, and testing have completely drained my savings. I am now on Medicaid, SNAP, and MLTSS.
Because of the sensitivity of medical and financial documents, I do not share anything digitally, but I am fully willing to meet in person in a public place and provide:
• Medicaid/MLTSS documentation
• Diagnosis & treatment verification
• ID
• Bank statements proving financial hardship
• Proof of residency
I rely on Medicaid medical transport, but delays have caused me to miss or arrive late to appointments multiple times. My only goal is to secure a basic, reliable used car or SUV that someone may no longer need so I can get to and from treatment on time and safely.
This is not a pity request. I fully intend to beat this illness and honor any repayment arrangement we agree upon. At this moment, I cannot offer money upfront — only my honesty, documentation, and commitment to repay.
If you have an older vehicle you no longer use and would consider helping someone in treatment, please reach out. Even a high-mileage but dependable car would make a tremendous difference.
Thank you for reading, and I’m happy to meet locally to verify everything in person.
