The Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, providing pre-hospital emergency care since October 1, 1951. We render aid and assistance to over 30,000 people in Westfield and neighboring towns.
Emergency medical services are provided at no charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to all those in need. On average, the Squad responds to 2,500 emergency medical service calls each year.
We will train you at the Squad to answer EMS calls.
- Your own transportation to the building
- One duty period every week. Overnight shifts are 12 hour shifts
- Attend and pass the state EMT class.
- Clean valid NJ Drivers License
