Key Duties & Responsibilities
Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Deliver material to customers on time, providing excellent customer service.
• Unload material, tools, and equipment from vendor trucks
• Maintain site inventory by assisting in inventory audits.
• Mark the material with the correct identifying information.
• Transfer material to and from the shops for modification purposes.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and package orders in boxes and pallets as per customer requirements.
• Take reasonable care for the safety and health of yourself and others.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Any combination of requirements that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities will be considered.
• Valid Driver’s license with the ability to meet the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A, 2 years at least.
• Basic math and good reading skills.
• TWIC card required
• Must have 1 year of experience in NJ/NY Port container work.
• Servicing truck and diesel engines
• Will do background check and drug screen
