Jenny’s Jetting is hiring a Vac Truck Operator to operate hydro-excavation, stormwater, sewer, and jetting equipment across NJ. Projects may include both prevailing wage (public works) and non-prevailing wage (private/commercial), with pay reflecting the project type.
Responsibilities:
Operate vac trucks, hydro-excavation units, and jetting equipment
Drive CDL trucks to/from job sites
Perform stormwater basin cleaning, sewer line flushing, and debris removal
Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintenance
Set up safe work zones and follow all safety protocols
Complete job logs and required paperwork
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
Valid Class A or B CDL (required)
Experience with vac trucks, hydro-evacuation, jetting
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor
Willingness to work variable hours and overtime
Safety-minded, dependable, and team-oriented
OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid certifications a plus
