Wooden Mallets 2 Vintage Primitive Examples 1800's Early 1900's. Here are 2 very old wooden mallets that I have had over 35 years. The larger one is 16 inches long, the head is 4.5 inches X 3.5 inches. It does have wear and it has been used at one time. There is a small thin chip at the top and a slightly larger chip towards the bottom. This one is rare. Next is a small and probably older mallet. It is 12.5 inches long, the head is 5 3/8 inch wide and 2.5 inches across. The handle is in great condition, the mallet itself has a big chip gone at the top and a couple small edge chips. A great collection for the vintage tool collector. I have more vintage tools listed. More great vintage items on Craigslist.
