Ristorante is seeking an experienced, dependable Sound Technician to oversee all aspects of our live entertainment production. Lucca features live music six nights per week, including solo performers during dinner service and full bands on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Sound Technician is responsible for ensuring a professional audio experience, maintaining the stage and equipment, coordinating with performers, and preparing the venue for each night’s entertainment.

Performance Schedule
Tuesday – Thursday
* Solo entertainers
* Soloists operate their own sound using the venue’s analog mixer.
* Technician should remain available by phone should assistance be required.
* QSC Main PA System
* Midas MR18 18-channel tablet-controlled digital mixer
* iPad control interface
* 7-foot Steinway grand piano
* House drum set
* Wireless microphones with rechargeable batteries
* Microphone stands
* Cables and stage accessories
Solo Performer System
* Harbinger LV12 12-channel analog mixer with Bluetooth and effects
Dining Room
* Bose S1 Pro+ speaker connected to the restaurant’s Sonos system

Primary Responsibilities
Band Production
* Mix all Friday and Saturday band performances.
* Coordinate setup, soundcheck, and performance requirements with each band.
* Ensure performers have everything necessary for a successful show.
* Troubleshoot audio issues before and during performances.
Solo Performers
* Ensure each soloist is properly connected and operating before their performance begins.
* Verify the Bose dining room speaker is correctly connected to the restaurant’s Sonos system when required.
* Confirm all systems are functioning before leaving the venue.
* Remain available during the week by phone should assistance be needed. When the system is set up correctly, solo performers should only need to power the system on and off.
Stage Management
* Keep the stage clean, organized, and professional at all times.
* Maintain cables, microphones, stands, batteries, and other equipment.
* Recharge wireless microphone batteries after use.
* Report any equipment issues requiring repair or replacement.
Weekly System Changeovers
Friday
* Convert the stage from the weekday analog setup to the digital Midas MR18 system for the weekend bands.
Saturday Night (after the band)
* Convert the stage back to the Harbinger analog mixer for the upcoming week’s solo performers.
* Ensure the stage is left organized and ready for Tuesday evening entertainment.

* Comfortable troubleshooting audio equipment quickly.
