Climes to over 200 feet and circles around until it runs out of fuel.
When it runs out of fuel, the rotor weights retract, causing the rotor pitch to change to an Auto-Rotation configuration, (just like a real helicopter!). and then glides (or auto-rotates) down for a soft landing.
These free-flight models are readily available on-line, however, most are listed as “Open Box”, “Never Fueled”, or “Never Flown”, or... in other words - “NOT TESTED”. This one IS TESTED and proven!!! It flies GREAT!
My son and I had hours of fun flying this helicopter - It’s been well cared for and well maintained, and it’s a Proven Excellent Flyer!!! But now he’s all grown up, and it’s time to pass it on to the next generation and let someone else enjoy it. There are some very minor scuffs from flying, but no damage!
It’s still in excellent condition and it still flies great!
The engine has recently been tested and started right up!
Comes with the famous Cox .049 Sure-Start (catalog #191) engine and all original parts and accessories.
Note: The engine has just been cleaned up, refurbished and fitted with all new gaskets.
It’s in great condition, starts right up and runs like a bandit!
The kit comes with all you need to fly, except for the startup (D-Cell) batteries and fuel
