Hikari Japanese Super Bullet Train Tin Battery/Radio Operated Boxed N Mint 50s-60s. 19 Inches Long. Here is a very rare Hikari tin litho remote tin toy train in the box sleeve. Made by Modern Toys, Japan, with Japanese writing, made for the Japanese market. Has very light wear and some spidering in the paint from age. No dents or dings. Has original remote and both antennas. Nice tin litho on train. It works, it takes 3 D cell and 2 -9 volt batteries. Train responds when the remote button is pushed, goes right, left, stops and backwards. The light in the front works and is bright. The red light on the top works as well, seems when the button is pressed the red light blinks indicating a changed movement. Train is marked "B-1001" and comes with Styrofoam inserts which are nice and not broken up. Box sleeve is almost 2 feet long and does have some wear and some tears. I had two of these that were exactly the same, I consigned one last year to Morphy's auction house in PA and it sold for $425.00 then you add 28% buyers premium, tax and a potential shipping charge and you are well over $500.00. This is not an easy toy to find especially in this condition. It was not made for the US market. I have other toys and advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Please ask any questions that you may have via email or text. Unlike Ebay or auctions I charge no tax, shipping charge or buyers premium for Craigslist or Facebook purchases that are picked up or handed off. Thank you, Dave
