GONG BELL FLEET FOOT FIDO 1939 LARGE RARE WOODEN PULL TOY EXC 16" LONG #835. You will not find this toy on Ebay or anywhere for that matter. It was issued for one year 1939. Fleet Foot Fido is all wood except for the wheels, he still has his shoes which look to be made of old leather. The dog is 15 inches tall and 16 inches long, he is wearing a bellhop uniform and he is pulling a large cart in the back. There is a flat wire below that when he is pulled makes a noise. This large toy is in remarkable condition for it's age, very light wear. The decal is 99+% all there, no damage to the wood. The paint is excellent. There is some old tape on the bottom, not sure why but, at this point I fear taking it off will remove some paint. Looks to be original string and wooden pull ball. As you pull him along his legs move like he is walking. I can see where a small child would have had a hard time pulling this large toy along. I have had this for a long time and have never seen another for sale in any condition. I have other old toys advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Please ask any questions that you may have via email or text.
