FREDDY KRUEGER A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 1989 TALKING DOLL 18” IN BOX MATCHBOX. Frightfully rare and pulled from shelves Matchbox toys 1989 FREDDY KRUEGER talking 18” pull string talking doll! Mint, New old stock, never taken out of original manufacturers detailed window packaging! This doll was released in 1989 to toy stores nationwide but was quickly pulled by Matchbox when parents and various organizations protested the toy saying it was to violent for young children. NOTE: THERE IS GLARE ON THE FIRST PICTURE.
Freddy has several sayings when his string is pulled!

Box has some light edge wear / corner wear to packaging. No cracks or breaks to plastic bubble window packaging just a little crease by head. The box is over 20 inches tall. This toy is now over 37 years old. Most don't talk this one does. This is not on Ebay, being sold exclusively through Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. First time offered. A very nice example of a classic toy!!! I have a large Doctor Dolittle doll in the box that is almost 60 years old. I have other toys and advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.
