ASRock Server Motherboard C226M WS.
The ASRock C226M WS is a micro-ATX motherboard aimed at server and workstation usage. It is built for Intel's E3-1200 v3 family of Xeon processors, using the Intel C226 chipset. That gives it ECC memory support, and ASRock has complimented that with dual Intel gigabit Ethernet ports, SATA 6Gbps, SATA Express, M.2, USB 2.0 and 3.0, as well as basic audio capabilities. The Intel graphics built into the Xeon E3 processors is also accessible, with VGA, DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs available.
This combination of advanced features, integrated into a compact board, makes the C226M WS a great candidate for a wide range of workstation and server needs.
ASRock is a less known brand, and fairly new to us here at Puget Systems, but so far the motherboards we've used from them have been quite good! This little fella is a nice one, in that it provides a lot of desktop / workstation oriented features with a Xeon processor platform for things like ECC memory support. We've seen similar boards from other brands before, but not usually in a small micro ATX form factor like this.
