Complete educational STEM Arduino Coding Game and Workshop set for kids or anyone looking to get the basics on Arduino microcontrollers and coding.
This includes a pretty standard ATmega328PB unit and breadboard and wires. It does also have onboard bluetooth. The serial to USB onboard chip is an ATmega16U2. Set is in mint shape and mostly unused. The bag with the extra resistors and LEDs has never been opened. The jumper wires are unused. Individual modules/sensors are unassembled.
The gaming part of the set seems to be about downloading a free app to smartphone or tablet and using the handheld controller with built in LiOn battery which connects to the ATmega32 and various modules which house temperature, motion, light, and sound sensors. The app/game introduces kids to coding in a fun way, it's free on Google Play and Apple store.
You can also use the set without the game app or handheld controller Shield thing and learn by connecting just the ATMega32 to your computer using the included USB cable and the free Arduino IDE program. The manual starts right at the beginning showing you how to load up a sketch/script, load needed libraries, upload the sketch, change the code, etc. I used this to get the basics and it is VERY simple and easy to learn at least at the start.
Looks 100% complete. Box has minor wear. This set won a "Parent's Choice" award
