We offer Insulation services throughout all of New Jersey. We specialize in residential insulation.
IN THE ATTIC:
We do full remediation projects where we remove old insulation, sanitize the area, use high quality baffles for adequate ventilation, air seal, install new Insulation.
What’s great about us is we don’t force you to remove good insulation just to properly air seal your attic. If the material is good quality and not contaminated we happily go underneath it to air seal the leaky drafty spots and then put the insulation back. After being air sealed we can add a layer of insulation on top to bring it up to the designated R-value.
We also take great measure in making sure other areas are also in good condition and done properly. We make sure all heat sources are addressed with proper flashing and firecaulk, all bathroom fans are properly insulated and vented, and all ductwork is properly sealed and insulated.
IN THE CRAWLSPACE:
Your crawlspace is very important because it starts at the foundation. A properly air sealed crawlspace will prevent unwanted drafts and odors from circulating into your home and increase energy efficiency. Having your crawlspace properly insulated will not just protect your home and allow you to live more comfortably, but also save you a lot of energy.
Adding a vapor barrier inside your crawlspace if the floor is made up of dirt or sand is very important in protecting your foundation, your insulation and providing the best air quality and humidity control inside the home.
NEW HOMES/ADDITIONS:
When we insulate new construction we use the highest quality insulation. We can also do the fire-blocking before Insualtion if needed to pass framing inspection. We insulate all windows and doors with door and window specific foam.
Our new construction work is all guaranteed to pass inspection.
DENSE-PACKING:
Densepacking is when you insulate a higher R-value into an enclosed cavity. Usually under flooring in an attic, inside a pre existing wall with minimal to no insulation. Or into a ceiling with little to no insulation.
Densepacking is also a way to soundproof an office, bedroom, or living room. To densepack existing walls we drill small holes into the existing drywall and pump in insulation to avoid having to take down walls to insulate or soundproof.
REPAIR and MAINTENANCE:
No job is too small. We repairs very small areas as well.
Example: two wet pieces of wet insulation from a leak.
