Property Manager – Garden-Style Apartment Community
Location: North Brunswick, NJ
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee both the day-to-day operations and full leasing efforts of our garden-style apartment community in North Brunswick, NJ. This is a hands-on role for someone who excels in both property management and leasing, with a strong focus on maintaining high occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee all daily property operations, ensuring the community is well-maintained and running efficiently
-Take full ownership of all leasing activities, including marketing, showing apartments, responding to inquiries, screening applicants, and executing leases
-Actively drive occupancy through consistent leasing efforts, follow-ups, and closing techniques
-Maintain strong lead management and conversion practices to maximize leasing performance
-Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to attract qualified tenants
-Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive living experience
-Coordinate maintenance requests and work closely with maintenance staff/vendors to ensure timely completion
-Enforce lease terms, community policies, and local regulations
-Manage rent collection, delinquencies, and basic financial reporting
-Maintain curb appeal and overall property presentation at all times
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in both property management and leasing, preferably in a multifamily setting
-Strong sales and closing skills with the ability to convert leads into signed leases
-Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
-Customer-service driven with a professional and approachable demeanor
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
-Familiarity with property management and leasing is a plus
Preferred Skills:
Experience with social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.) to promote available units and drive leasing traffic
Ability to create engaging listings, photos, and online content to increase visibility and interest
