We are seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Office Assistant / Leasing Agent to join our team at a large, well-maintained apartment community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, multitasking, and being part of a fast-paced property management environment.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, emails, and walk-in inquiries from prospective and current residents
Schedule and conduct apartment tours
Assist with leasing, applications, and move-in paperwork
Post and respond to online rental ads (Facebook, Craigslist, Zillow, etc.)
Maintain organized tenant files and office records
Collect rent payments and assist residents with portal access
Coordinate with maintenance and management on resident requests
General office duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and correspondence
Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects
Requirements:
Strong communication and people skills
Comfortable speaking on the phone and showing apartments
Basic computer knowledge (email, internet, Microsoft Office)
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Professional appearance and attitude
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Previous leasing, real estate, or office experience preferred (but not required)
