Left handed 1956 Fender Stringmaster D8 guitar with legs and case. 24.5” scale.
Perfectly converted to left-handed. Built like a tank this 1956 Stringmaster had been stripped of its blond paint years ago. I bought it with the Intentions of making it left-handed. Much of the guitar/hardware is original with the following exceptions:
New Fender Dimension Bass logo decal
New chrome legs
New chrome knobs
New vol/tone pots
New Sugartone repro fretboards
New toggle switches used for each neck.
Original Stringmaster control plates were powder coated hot rod red to help create a hot rod color theme.
Currently tuned necks to C6 and Don Helms E6.
Note: tweed case was painted brown. It was like that when I got it. Works well to carry and protect. Latches work but springs are weak so you have to manually closed and open them.
Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
