While currently having my first amateur'ish Rokit-8's and working at SamAsh, I fell in love with the ADAM a7x's after having tested all of the monitors that were hooked up there. At the moment a7x's were way out of my price range so I found a "hack" to get them cheaper - a very similar monitor pair that was passive paired with a good studio amp.
The low end on the ADAM's is much tighter (not muddy like the Rokit8's) and translates better to the final mix. Also it won't shred your eardrums after 2 hours of work like the Yamaha's do.
Condition is excellent - no indented/ripped cone business, fully functional and even great cosmetically. Auralex treatment monitor support sound isolation foam included as well as power cables.
