This is your chance to own one of the truly iconic instruments. My arthritis has defeated me and I am forced to sell both my 12 strings (the other is a custom made Veillette Gryphon). One of the finest 12 string guitars ever made. Select solid spruce top, which has aged to a wonderful gold. Shimmering beautiful striped ebony sides and back. The photos just don't do justice to this beautiful wood. Abalone rosette. One piece mahogany neck, ebony fretboard. Fancy pinless bridge. A custom job with duck (geese?) inlays on the fretboard. Gold tuners. Signed by Breedlove master luthier Steve Henderson. Serial number 95-073 (the 73d instrument made in 1995).
I have played 12 string guitars for 51 years. I have owned Yamaha, Takamine (“Martin infringement”), Ovation, Seagull, Taylor 655 (for 28 years), Alvarez-Yairi, Gibson, Martin and Guild 512 12 string guitars. This is by no small margin the very best of all. The bass is a real thumper, but the sound is still balanced. This is due in part to the JLD truss brace system, which allows a thinner top and prevents bowing.

It works. It’s an absolute cannon. You won’t believe the sound. Loud and sustains forever.
Here is a YouTube video on the truss system

Guitar is in excellent condition, neck is true, very playable. No dings.
Comes with a nice hardshell case.
In 2010 Breedlove was bought by a big manufacturing company called Two Old Hippies, and they went to making imported mass marketed instruments. However, this one was made when Kim Breedlove still owned the company and he and Steve Henderson made amazing instruments. The company was recently sold to two of its employees.
A YouTube video of a Breedlove like just this one:

Accompanying text: "This is a great 12 string, the ebony really works to give it a clear voice. It's equally good at fingerstyle or strumming. Steve Henderson and his custom shop crew at Breedlove have really outdone themselves with this killer twelve-string Jumbo. The striped ebony is unbelievably beautiful, and really provides a ton of headroom when I lean into it. This guitar loves DADGAD tuning, too -- check out Al's demo for proof of that. This is truly one of the best twelve-strings to come through Dream Guitars in a long while."
Street price used is $4,400 and up.

Handmade by Steve Henderson in the late 1990s in the Breedlove custom shop, this build today would easily cost over $8,000.”)
Breedlove occasionally still offers an instrument called the Master Class Striped Ebony 12 string. It will cost you. The site says “If you want the very best 12-string acoustic and budget is not an issue, then the Breedlove Master Class Classic XII is specially made for you. This guitar is the latest metamorphosis of the Classic XII series, featuring outstanding craftsmanship, matched by its rich and lush sound. Those that are lucky enough to own or at least try this 12-string acoustic are simply overwhelmed by the Classic XII's artistic look and amazing musicality.”
