I bought this Tama Superstar Classic drumset brand new from Sweetwater, and then added a complete set of expensive R-Drums RTB Internal Triggers. These are widely considered to be the best drum triggers in the world.
In the process, I made sure to use only the very best top-of-the-line components.
The end result is a gorgeous eDrum set that looks exactly like an acoustic set! It currently has mesh heads for the full eDrum experience, but of course, it could be converted back to a fully acoustic set as well. No modification was done to the shells whatsoever.
