I have stands with two different body support depths, 3 ½” (for solidbodies and thin semi acoustics) 5” (fits acoustics and archtop guitars as well as solidbodies and thin semi acoustics). $30 each.
25+ years old, excellent condition, NOT scratched up, the rubber pads are in great shape.
I used these back in the ‘90s when I was a vendor at guitar shows, as did most guitar dealers because of their compact size, super quick and easy set up/folding, and sturdy construction. I don’t think they’re made anymore but they used to be advertised in Vintage Guitar Magazine as “The One The Dealers Use!” which they certainly were.
Just disconnect the leg at the back and the stand folds flat for easy storage. Very stable and they won’t harm lacquer finishes.
