These are perfect for playing anywhere from an octopus' garden in the shade all the way on up to doing concerts on rooftops.
The downfall of the original models from 68-71 was the weight... often well over 10 pounds. The newer Custom Shop Rosewood Teles are much lighter. This one weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces and well balanced. The chambered body is quite resonant too.
This has a comfortable 9.5" radius on .850"-.920" 60's C profile.
The electronics are the hand wound Twisted Tele pickup set with the Greasebucket circuit. These are arguably some of the best Tele pickups Fender has made & they work very nicely with the chambered rosewood body.
No major issues on this one.. Like most of my guitars there is only very light play wearr and a couple of dings. On this one there are two small dings on the neck by the 11th fret.. one on the back of the neck and the other on the fingerboard. The frets are not showing any wear yet.
