JGS is looking for a hands-on Rollforming technician to oversee the day-to-day operations of rollforming production lines, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of steel components by scheduling production runs, maintaining equipment, monitoring quality control and supervising a team of rollforming operators.
This role requires experience in installing, aligning, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing rollforming machines, related equipment, and tooling and dies,
Key Qualifications:
• Experience with operating and maintaining rollforming equipment producing various steel profiles.
• Possess a thorough and detailed understanding of all phases of the rollforming process to manufacture steel goods.
• Expertise in monitoring the performance of rollforming machines, tooling and dies for optimal production, with identification of potential manufacturing malfunctions.
• Knowledge of the proper utilization of tooling and dies for each production run.
• Capability to directly perform the routine maintenance and preventative upkeep of rollforming equipment, tooling and dies.
• Ability to identify and address quality issues, promptly initiating corrective action when necessary.
