1991 Red, Original Owner (Purchased new and serviced at Burgers Honda in Flemington), Very Low Miles (under 17k).
Stock except for Supertrapp muffler. Only parts replaced were regulator/rectifier, tires and batteries. Honda over-engineered this motorcycle to last well over 100,000 miles, and the replacement reg/rec components are more robust.
Torquey 90-degree V4 engine has gear-driven cams and is fitted with a 6-speed manual trans and a top-tier hydraulic clutch.
102 HP, 483 lb. Iconic single-sided swing arm. Always garaged. Comfortable riding ergonomics. Good on both street and track, and suitable for both one- and two-up riding.
Note #1: VFR750Fs were used by Reg Pridmore's CLASS track day instructors at Watkins Glen Raceway when I attended; a professional endorsement of the bike.
Note #2: Be sure to watch the You Tube video, 'The Bucks Biker Sept. 7, 2024, Honda VFR750F', which makes a persuasive case for why this bike is 'the Greatest All-rounder Ever Built'. Feel free to call but please do not text.
NOTE #3 - DISCLAIMERS: 1) Rear tire has about 1000 miles of center tread left on it. Front tire has lots of tread. 2) Battery is about 5 1/2 years old but still functional. 3) There are some shallow scratches on the left side fairing where black plastic shows beneath the red paint. This can be touched up.
