Selling this motorcycle on behalf of a friend from Australia.
He traveled to the United States in June for a three-month motorcycle tour and purchased this 2014 BMW R1200RT from a BMW dealership in North Carolina. After completing his trip, he returned to Australia and asked me to sell the bike for him.
The motorcycle currently has 33,886 miles and runs and rides beautifully. It has been completely reliable throughout his trip and is ready for its next owner.
The bike is equipped with a brand-new genuine BMW 49-liter top case, installed by the BMW dealer at the time of purchase. The top case alone cost $1,788, and the original invoice is available. The original purchase invoice for the motorcycle is also available.
In the interest of full disclosure, the bike has two small cosmetic scratches on the side cases (shown in the photos), and the rear tire should be replaced soon. Other than that, the motorcycle is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition.
