We are looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Print Production Assistant to join our large-format
production team. In this role, you will take ownership of the print floor during your shift — operating
equipment, managing job priorities, and ensuring output meets our quality standards. This is an ideal

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment Operation
– Operate the Roland XR wide-format printer, and Graphtec plotter including setup, calibration, and day-to-day running
– Monitor print quality throughout runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain output standards
Production & Finishing
– Laminate finished prints to specification
– Finish and store floor wraps, ensuring clean application and edge work
– Cut, weed and tack decals accurately and efficiently, maintaining clean workmanship throughout
Scheduling & Job Management
– Review production schedule at the start of each shift & prioritise jobs based on event dates, material lead times, & job complexity
– Flag any scheduling conflicts, material shortages, or quality concerns proactively
– Keep the production floor organized and ensure completed jobs are properly labelled and staged for dispatch
Team Support
– Assist Production Leads with tasks as directed, contributing to overall team output and deadlines
– Communicate clearly via shift handover notes or messaging channels to keep the day team informed of progress and any issues
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
– Hands-on experience with wide-format printing equipment (Roland experience highly regarded)
– Familiarity with laminating, floor wrap finishing, and decal weeding
– Strong ability to self-manage — you can stay on task and make good decisions without constant direction
– Exceptional attention to detail; you notice the small things and take the time to get them right
– Good time awareness — able to assess a job queue and make smart prioritisation calls
– Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
– Clear communication skills for handover notes and flagging issues
