Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanic Helper to assist with the repair, maintenance, and preparation of commercial janitorial equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone mechanically inclined who wants to learn and grow in the cleaning equipment industry.
Responsibilities
Assist technicians with repairs and maintenance of:
Floor scrubbers
Burnishers and buffers
Carpet extractors
Vacuum cleaners
Pressure washers
Other commercial cleaning equipment
Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for delivery or rental
Help diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
Change batteries, motors, belts, brushes, and other components
Organize tools, parts, and work areas
Load and unload equipment as needed
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Experience with hand and power tools preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
Valid driver's license preferred
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
