VINTAGE BUCKSKIN TOILET WATER FOR MEN PARFUM L'ORLE FULL BOTTLE IN BOX 30s-40s 8OZ RARE. Here is an old full complete bottle of Buckskin Toilet Water for men. The bottle is still sealed with a glass stopper with a thick chamois buckskin type label as well as a bow around the top. Made in USA by L'orle around the 30's or 40's I presume. The bottle is 6 inches tall and it has 8 ounces. The box is 6.5 inches tall. Has the cardboard insert as well as the paper that protected this bottle all these years. It has the L'orle Essential Toiletries for Men brochure showing all the items available and prices. It even has the outer tissue paper that originally went around the box. The front tissue panel is missing. 4 ounces of this was $5.00 back in the day. Why they called perfume toilet water is beyond me, certainly doesn't sound like something that is supposed to make you smell good. I have never found another bottle full or empty certainly not a complete package like this. Has to be super rare. I have many more fragrances and powders for sale listed on Craigslist.
