Micalizzi Antiques and Furniture Restoration, Phone: show contact info ). Located on 28 Harrison avenue Building #9 Englishtown New Jersey. Hours: Monday - Friday 9-4, Saturday 10-3. Solid authentic tiger oak buffet dresser made in the mid 1800's. Looks to be all original and complete. All of the Hardware is original to the piece and made of solid ornate brass. There are Keyholes in all of the cabinets / drawers but the original key has been lost at some point. It would not be difficult to find a replacement but I am unsure of the condition of the lock mechanism. All of the drawers have dovetail pegs and open easily with plenty of stroage room. The bottom center cabinet has a locking push ball on the bottom that keeps it securly closed, and the left center door cannot open without opening the right one by its design. The inteor is very clean with light use. The finish really brings out the beauty of the tiger oak especially long the sides and front. Due to the lighting the top doesnt appear to match as well but in person it looks fantastic. The front of the cabinets have a carved design imbedded within. The feet in the front bell out and themselves are very detailed. All of the carvings are hand made and done to perfection. I dont have an exact age on the dresser but the styling and crafstsmanship point toward the mid 1800's. It measures 63"L x 24"W x 36"H. Check out our other listings as well! Something for everyone!
