Micalizzi Antiques and Furniture Restoration, Phone: show contact info ). Located on 28 Harrison avenue Building #9 Englishtown New Jersey. Hours: Monday - Friday 9-4, Saturday 10-3. Available for Purchase is an original Early 20th century Hoosier Bakers Hutch. I believe the wood is walnut and it has been wondefrully preserved. Im not sure if the finish is original, but the rest of he cabinet is. The top of the cabinet features two large top glass doors, two smaller top side cabinets, two slide out drawers, and two swivel down drawers. Additionally there is some open shelving for extra storage. On the bottom half of the cabinet there are two slide out wood boards for either cutting or kneading. Under the boards are two drawers, a large cabinet, and a removable drawer that doubles as a mobile cart! The drawer has wheels attached to the bottom of the back and would be perfect for filling with flour and wheeling it to / from the cabinet! Along the top side of the dresser there are 4 push button latches that allow the cabinets to stay closed, and open with a spring mechansim, Very intricate for the time, The top left cabinets button needs adjusting as it does not click shut. The bottom left cabinet looks to have once had the same mechanism but it has been updated to a modern magnet. The hardware is very orante from the handles to the hinges and just adds to the high level of detail. Beautiful one of a kind piece! It measure 44L x 27W x 77H.
