For sale is a beautiful all original Storage Cabinet, that dwarfs any other furniture in size. The piece is a completely modular design and can be fully taken apart with a series of pins and clamps, but holds together very strong when assembled. Its certainly European, appearing to be Italian in design, but I cannot confirm. Its hard to pin an age on it, but it looks to be from at least the mid 1800's, potentially earlier. The front doors are still displaying the original leaded glass with the original lock and key in working order. The left center door stays closed with two sliding latches, one at the top (photographed) and one at the bottom (identical). On the sides are two more additional cabinets with phenomenal hand carved figures on them as shown. All the cabinets have adjustable shelves with multiple heights that each shelf can rest on with given notches. Along the bottom of the cabinet are three additional storage locations. Two smaller side drawers and a main center drawer. Along every edge of the cabinet more and more extremely detailed carvings can be found. One could only imagine the time it would take to complete a work of art at this scale. Truly a one of a kind piece that is amazing to see still around today especially in as good shape as it is. It has always been well taken care of and the condition shows that. The piece does of course show very minor signs of use such as slight nicks, scratches, etc. But for its age its a true beautiful original survivor. It measures 93L x 18W x 75H.
