Position Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of prep cook experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Experience with vegetable prep, sauces, stocks, proteins, and Italian-American staples
• Ability to follow recipes and par levels with consistency
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset and professional kitchen demeanor
• Availability for weekends and holidays
• Full-time availability
Responsibilities
• Daily preparation of ingredients according to chef specifications
• Maintaining prep lists and station organization
• Proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products (FIFO)
• Assisting line cooks during service when needed
• Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Supporting the culinary team to ensure smooth, efficient service
