Heirloom Kitchen, the flagship restaurant and OG within Good Trouble Hospitality, is seeking a Captain to join our front-of-house team. At Heirloom, our servers are called Captains—because they guide the guest experience from start to finish with confidence, warmth, and attention to detail.
As a Captain, you are the primary point of contact for your guests. You set the tone at the table, communicate closely with the kitchen and service team, and ensure every detail of the dining experience feels thoughtful and intentional.
What we’re looking for:
A genuine passion for hospitality and a guest-first mindset
Strong food knowledge and the ability to confidently guide guests through our menu and dining experience
Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional presence on the floor.
Prior experience in a high-level or detail-driven restaurant environment
A strong sense of teamwork, accountability, and pride in your work
What you’ll do:
Lead your tables through their dining experience, from greeting to farewell
Accurately present menu items, answer questions, and communicate clearly with the kitchen
Maintain awareness of pacing, timing, and guest needs throughout service
Work collaboratively with captains, support staff, and management to ensure smooth service
Uphold Heirloom Kitchen’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and care
