Sous Chef – Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sous Chef to join our leadership team. This is a full-time position with benefits, averaging 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
At Goa, we deliver an elevated dining experience that transitions into a vibrant Latin nightclub every Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM. (Sous Chefs are not scheduled past 12:00 AM.) We are looking for a strong BOH leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can uphold high culinary standards while mentoring and developing their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations
Lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff
Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality of all dishes
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Manage prep, line execution, and service flow
Assist with inventory control and cost management
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
Experience with Cuban or Latin cuisine preferred
Culinary school diploma and/or ServSafe certification is a plus
Strong culinary technique and knife skills
Deep understanding of food safety standards
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Fluent in English (Spanish is a strong plus)
