From the golden age of Japanese audio, the finely manufactured Kenwood KD 770D turntable was created. This turntable is the closest you will find that has all the features of a finely crafted transcription turntable and arm with an added feature of automatic pickup. The arm is completely free from any mechanical devices like a trascription arm. At the end of the record, the arm rises. Push a button, the arm rises, push a button, the arm lowers. There is no cntact between the arm and the platter. The platter is direct drive and quartz locked for speed control. The cartridge is a Stanton 681 with the original diamond needle which is in good condition. ( you may examine it using my microscope ). I have also purchased a new needle (not Stanton) which appears to work well. This is one of the finest turntables made in Japan using the latest technology. There are some minor scratches on the top of the cover. I will be happy to demonstrate this excellent turntable.
