PHILIP MORRIS CIGARETTE RARE WOODEN SIGN WITH JOHNNY 44" TALL 30s-40s. Here is an excellent rare cardboard over wood advertising sign for Philip Morris cigarettes. You may be able from time to time to find this large size cardboard sign with the stand up easel but, it's rare and even if you do these 70-80 year old signs are in rough condition. This one is extremely rare since the sign is wooden with a cardboard overlay. This was done by the manufacturer way back when. It is done beautifully with some light wear. Philip Morris must have had their reasons for making a heavy duty wooden sign. It is 1/2 inch thick. The wood is beautiful, this must have been inside a display to be so nice after all these years. The front has a couple rubs here and there but, it is a great sign and maybe one of a kind. Some mild fading. No edge chips to the wood except on the very bottom just a mild ding to the cardboard. It has the hanging wire. I also have large tin Philip Morris signs for sale in another listing. I have advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace.
