PHILIP CAREY TIN SIGN 36X22. Here is a nice and dirty tin sign from what I believe is the 1950's. Just found out from a nice guy who told me, The Philip Carey Manufacturing Corporation, also referred to as Old Carey or Rapid-American, was founded in 1888. The company mined asbestos and manufactured asbestos-containing insulation for boilers, generators, pipes, and other industrial equipment until the 1960s. It's an old tin sign. Has some edge bends.
