Pepsi Cola Imexal / Relide weather station heavy brass presentation clock, thermometer, barometer and hygrometer which rotates on a brass stand. This clock was presented to Kita Kanto Inryo Kabushiki Kashi by the Pepsi Cola Company in commemoration of the new plant opening Maebashi, Japan August 13 1964. This is 6.9 pounds and almost a foot tall. It's an 8 day clock with 15 jewels. Swiss movement. It is like new condition, a small spot of oxidation from age. I never tried it. Seems like the thermometer and the hygrometer are in the range of working. Still has the guarantee paperwork from Relide. I have had it since 1983. I worked in a flavor house for 40 years, they made the Pepsi base from the 1940's until 1990's. There was one salesman who had the account for almost 50 years. When we were ready to move into a new plant in central jersey a large stash of hidden Pepsi items were found presumably stored by this salesman all that time. All this stuff was put into a large empty room for the employees to go through, there was a large garage full of stuff. I wasn't collecting anything at that time. I was curious to see what was there. As I was digging through I seen a sealed wooden crate, I got some tools and opened it and that's when I found this clock in its padded case. How or why it was in north jersey hidden away is unknown. I thought it could be useful at the time but over 40 years later I never tried it or used it. It has been in it's padded box all this time. This has to be one of a kind being for one person on one date. Still like new almost 60 years later. A super rare one of a kind Pepsi Cola item that I was never able to find anything about. I have vintage toys and advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. If interested please enter dave rave into the central jersey search bar to see it all. Please ask any questions that you may have via email or text. Unlike Ebay or auctions I charge no tax, shipping charge or buyers premium for Craigslist or Facebook purchases that are picked up or handed off. Thank you, Dave
