Magic Maid Vintage Stainless Toaster #664 in Box Works Very Rare 1950s. Vintage Magic Maid 2 slice stainless toaster series 664 Made by Son Chief 750 Watt. Toaster works and is in excellent vintage condition, very light wear. It was used but, I have had it for 30 years and never used it until I tried it today, not with bread just plugged it in. Heated right up. There is a clicking timer that works meaning you can hear it clicking but, I have no idea if it shuts off on it's own. The original cloth cord is in excellent condition. Bakelite on sides and base. It is 12 inches long x 6 inches wide. I just noticed after all these years that the box is for a different toaster, a General Electric by Lasko. I guess I never checked because it fits in the box perfectly with inserts and registration card. The box is almost perfect for being over 70 years old. Marked $24.95 which was a lot or money 70+ years ago. Model #664 seems to be one of the hardest if not the hardest Magic Maid toaster to obtain. More great vintage items on Craigslist.
