LONGFELLOW CIGAR BOX WOODEN 1890s CUBAN HAND MADE EXC CONDITION. Here is another of my cigar boxes that is rarely seen. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow cigar box. He died in 1882 so, this box may be even older than 1890's. The box is in Exc condition, no cracks to the wood. The lid is ever so slightly warped. The lid looks to have been taped on from the back. I doubt that is original. Has a nice picture of Longfellow on the side and under the lid. It is 7" X 6" X 5 3/4". It says around the edges that they are Cuban hand made but, the bottom says Factory #826 Dist. Minn 100. Has litho loss somewhat on the edges. The inside still has the paper liner. Please ask any question that you may have.
