1930's Hostess Large Cardboard Advertising Sign "Look For The Lady On The Red Heart" Sign is 44" X 32". This sign was made to be hung in a store that sold Hostess products way back when. The sign is in good condition for it's age, Has some edgewear and chips, some nail holes and is dirty. It's made of thick cardboard and wasn't supposed to last over 90 years, these signs were thrown out when the promotion was over. This sign has nice color with the iconic Hostess lady on it. The sign has been preserved with cellophane and a rigid backing for over 20 years. You just don't see too much vintage advertising from Hostess. This item is too big and delicate to ship, it must be picked up in East Windsor New Jersey 08520. Original Hostess went out of business a number of years ago. This sign is vintage and very rare. This was purchased at Philip Weiss Auctions in New York many years ago. I have two other Hostess signs for sale as well. Please ask any question that you may have via email or give me a call or text.
