Doughboy Mammoth Paper Caps By Halco 114 Packs N Mint in Display Box. 1930's or 40's. New Old Stock. Here is a very rare box of Halco Doughboy Big 72 Mammoth Caps in the original box from the 30's or 40's. It has the WW1 motif. The box originally held one gross and 114 packs remain in excellent unused condition. There are 72 paper caps in each pack and over 8200 caps in all. One pack was only 1 penny. This display box is in pretty good condition for it's age. It has wear and one small side is missing with some tape and cardboard on that side. Still has nice coloring and wording. It's showing a WW1 soldier or Doughboy as they were called on the front lines holding his rifle. Not many of these boxes have survived over almost 90 years. More great vintage items on Craigslist.
