Headphones have been tested (connections 2 and 4 of the jack) and sound quality is good. The microphone has not been tested but is probably working fine too. Earpads are comfortable but show some wear and feel a little slick, they are easily replaceable if needed.

Think the type of plug these have is for military use, you can swap out the plug if you are handy or get an adapter. A while ago someone emailed and said it was for helicopter, not sure if that is correct or not.

This unit also comes with an optional LED light with two AA battery pack that is velcroed on the side. I put batteries in but could not get the LED to light up, not sure what the issues is. The easily removable LED light accessory is included as-is for parts or repair.
