Overall this in in pretty good shape. Needs needle and probably a new belt too. There is some loss to the black enamel paint around the base 1/2" or so in places and the fold out tray has a small piece in the back corner broken off, see the last listing photo for details on this. The power cord appears to be original and while it's currently working should be replaced for safety- outer rubber insulation is still flexible for the most part but has some damage in places, internal insulation is probably all very deteriorated. The wire terminals inside the speed foot control were replaced and internally wires were covered with heat shrink tubing- this was done only so the machine could be safely used. Otherwise there is no damage or issues apparent.
Serial number on bottom is AJ205567 which should date this to 1949.
Includes original manual which shows some wear. There are 6 original metal bobbins included. The bobbin holder appears to be original and is in good shape- locks in place correctly. There's a tube a Singer lubricant grease that appears like it might be usable. See higher resolution photos for details on what attachments and accessories are included.
The belt appears to be pretty old and is a bit loose IMO, seems to be less flexible than it should be and almost certainly should be replaced. The needle in the holder has broken off- needs a new needle. Probably also needs internal lubrication, cleanup, and possibly adjustment or repair- this is almost 80 years old and have no idea when it was last really used although it was obviously stored with care.
Did not get a case with this. YouTube video was taken to demo working condition will share on request.
