This gem of engineering has a high torque spring system and
governor to maintain correct speed, always
It's started by the hand crank located on the right side of the cabinet
This is a very heavy,massive piece of furniture
No exact date of manufacture exists but these machines were sold from 1912
to 1928,when radio began to get popular
Some of these disc players were sold at very high prices because of the detailed cabinetry

Unit comes with approximately 40 Edison records ,stored nicely in the side cabinets
