KIDDIE KAR WOODEN SCOOTER TRICYCLE 1918 H.C WHITE CO. EXC CONDITION. Here is a great old toy that's 108 years old. Scarce circa 1918 Kiddie-Kar scooter tricycle by the H.C. White Company in Bennington, Vermont. Original label is in fantastic condition with light wear as shown in photo. It has a patent date in 1918. The Kiddie-Kar is a metal disc wheeled tricycle with wooden body construction that a child would push with their feet to get it going as they steer. This H.C. White tricycle is in excellent condition. It has some surface wear as pictured, but remains in remarkable condition. It was stored very well in the last 108 plus years. Has the original paint with little wear. The rubber wheels are hard and brittle as to be expected with some holes in them. No splits or cracks in the wood. On the bottom of the seat there is a very light stencil that says "Kiddie Kar Special" there is another word but, it's too faded. It is still sturdy for a child to ride on. My neighbor's 3 year old was riding it. This tricycle measures about 22" long x 8" wide at the seat x 23" tall to the top of the handlebar. This is a real antique toy that you don't see everyday.
