LUCKY FLOUR SWASTIKA FLOUR 1925 CALENDAR FEDERAL MILLING CO. Here is a very nice and rare large Lucky Flour calendar from 1925 in the frame. It pictures two woman holding roses. There are two swastika's on each side of the calendar towards the bottom. In 1925 and for thousands of years prior the swastika was a sign of good luck. Of course that all changed when Germany took it over a few years later. The calendar pad looks to be complete. It is over 100 years old. It's large, the entire frame is 34" X 28". The calendar itself is 24" X 17.5" at least what is showing. It is triple matted with protective glass. The calendar was gotten at a high end estate sale over 25 years ago in Rumson NJ. I have never taken it out of the frame. The frame is more modern and beautifully made. Lucky Flour was made by Federal Milling Co owned by H.L. Garrison and Bro. The calendar has some wear, the upper corners have some darkening. There is a fold about 2/3rds of the way down, some creases and some small edge tears. Looks like heavy stock paper was used which is glossy. The back has a tear that has a piece of tape on it. I have more vintage items for sale. Unlike Ebay or auctions I charge no tax, shipping charge or buyers premium for Craigslist or Facebook purchases that are picked up or handed off.
