CIVIL WAR CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE FOR TILLMAN WAMBOLD LARGE FRAMED EXC COND. Here is an original Union Army Civil War honorable discharge certificate for Tillman Wambold of Lehigh Valley PA, Company A, 1st Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. Honorably Discharged from Harrisburg PA on July 15th, 1865. Part of the Oldham post. Presented to his family in May 1910. Mr Wambold's decoratively illustrated chromolithograph records are written on the certificate from 1861 to 1865. He was captured twice. This looks to be the original frame which has some wear, the wooden back is nice with the hang wire. Never taken out of frame as far as I know and can see. It was never folded. Beautiful colors with very light wear. A picture of Abraham Lincoln "The Soldiers Friend" at the bottom. The certificate printed for Army and Navy service, was printed by the Pettibone Brothers and copyrighted in 1883. Very important piece of PA history. Approximate size of frame 32" X 25". I have other vintage items and advertising for sale on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. Please ask any questions that you may have via email or text. Unlike Ebay or auctions I charge no tax, shipping charge or buyers premium for Craigslist or Facebook purchases that are picked up or handed off. Thank you, Dave
