Used Bowflex exercise tread-climer. The Bowflex Treadclimber TC5300 is larger than the previous Bowflex units and goes faster. You will enjoy a smooth stride with the long treads. This unit is bigger and smoother than the following models. The TC5300 retails for $3299 plus shipping and handling. The Bowflex Treadclimber is an all-in-one machine and can be used as an elliptical, treadmill, or stair stepper. The machine can turn from an elliptical to a treadclimber in seconds by simply locking a lever. At 350 pounds the Treadclimber TC5300 is one of the largest Bowflex Treadclimbers, providing the feel and stability of a gym machine at the price of a home unit.
From a personal use, we have used this unit for a few years and not failed in performing 3 days week across the several persons in the house. Tension from the hydraulic shocks are very good but I would recommend to investigate about regular maintenance using silicon spray on the belts every few months depending on your use. That and regular cleaning helps keep this unit in the great shape and that's this unit. Included in the heart/pulse monitor that, when used, is strapped across your body and the information is transferred to the display on the main console. During use, the display is large and in dark led font and is easy to press the applicable button for any required changes being increase or decrease in speed. Also included is a magnetic STOP which can be clip to your work-out clothing for SAFETY reasons.
This unit roughly @ 230 + lbs. when completely built so that does add the over-all stability and safety since you would not want the unit moving as your walking or slight faster activity might be with a lighter unit.
