Working as an integral team member of the Technical Documentation Group, lead the trafficking/routing of all production-related requests for the Technical Manuals to appropriate personnel and/or vendors. Create and manage schedules for all manual projects requiring Technical Documentation functions: reviewing, revising, developing new content, creating new graphics and/or correcting old versions, printing. Work closely with the Technical Documentation Manager and Manual Owners and SMEs as well as Manual teams to assist them in completing their goals of reviewing, revising and developing new content. Expedite and streamline the production of manual projects through all related departments. Report in a timely manner on all departmental production activity. Work as an integral team member in Technical Documentation to help reach our department goals of reviewing/revising manuals, publishing select manuals both in print and on our Intranet, support our OEM strategy and plan. These manuals cover areas such as Safety, Dispatch Work Management, Gas Emergency Procedures, Gas Distribution Standards, Overhead Construction Outside Plant, Underground Construction Outside Plant and Substation Maintenance and Inside Plant Relay Testing
Required:
- 2-4 years of experience working in an electronic publishing environment
- Advanced skill/knowledge in FrameMaker, Word, Excel, Outlook,Visio, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Windows XP
