Senior Contracts Administrator (Princeton, NJ)
compensation: $55K - $60K
Working in both teams and independently, perform and assist with supervising contracts administration functions including, but not limited to: drafting standard and non-standard agreements, proofing, updating computer systems, and resolving billing and system discrepancies.
Proof drafts and system updates for standard steamship line, trucker and term requests, as well as system updates for the Trac Connect program.
Draft lease agreements, including finance leases, operating leases, subleases, chassis pool agreements, and vendor agreements
Oversee some of the requests that come through on a daily basis from other departments within the organization.
Update contract and billing terms in leasing and document management systems
Research and resolve billing discrepancies; prepare and distribute contract reports to management and internal departments; and coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Data Management teams to resolve conflicts between contract terms and equipment movement
Train department members on an as needed basis
Assist with requirement gathering for system enhancements and testing.
Maintain proper internal controls over contract process

College degree required
Minimum four (4) years of related experience required
Contract writing, proofreading or editing experience required
Specific experience in leasing, intermodal or transportation industries preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Ability to learn and adapt to in-house system applications; must be computer systems-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Must be detail-oriented, accurate, consistent, and inquisitive
Must be dependable, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to be a team player
Must be able to multi-task and drive a process to completion
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Special Position Requirements
Travel required to remote location on an as needed basis.
This position requires long periods sitting behind a desk, extensive use of a telephone, and performing tasks on a computer and in-house system applications.
